Friends Feature: Pete Fitz
Chester & Friends isn’t much without friends. We’d really just be a creative company run by a cat. Sometimes the friends are clients. Sometimes the friends are our network of creatives and collaborators. And, sometimes, just sometimes, the friends are us. Today we want to introduce the extremely smart and kind Portland-based film director, Pete Fitz. This one is another quick read, so just….read it.
Introducing our dear friend in Portland, OR, Daddy (he’s an actual father) Pete Fitz.

From Maine to Wyoming, from Los Angeles to Portland, OR, Pete's a rolling stone with a lot of creative industry experience. Being on a film set is Pete’s happy place - he loves the collaboration, creativity and grit that is required in any worthy project. Pete started making films in high school and college before earning his BA in creative writing from St. Lawrence University. Since then he's worked professionally as a video editor, while additionally producing and directing his own projects.

Pete's love of community and education inspired him to get his master's in teaching from Lewis & Clark (’16) in Portland, but he continues to collaborate with the surprisingly large community of filmmakers and creatives in PDX on commercials, feature films, screenplays, graphic novels and more.
When not in the creative mode, Pete’s running, biking, backpacking, skiing, giving people the giggles, or traveling with his wife Jane and their one-year-old son, Wiley.
